This course is suitable for those who want to learn basic language skills to communicate simple conversations with Deaf people. Want to learn new language skills as part of a programme or study or studying for personal development. Those who are parents, family friends or colleagues of Deaf people.

This course is only delivered online and allows learners to gain and develop skills and confidence to interact using BSL.
No previous experience is necessary however it is essential that Signature BSL competence standards including requirements for candidates to have sufficient sight, manual dexterity, facial and body movement to produce and receive BSL are met.

It includes 101,102 and 103 assessments which when achieved gives a full Level 1 Certificate awarded by Signature, the awarding body and enables Learners to progress to Level 2

It is suitable for all ages.
