This full day course combines Deaf Awareness and a basic introduction to BSL. The training will include the following:

• Provide information and strategies that will enable individuals to understand a range of deaf issues and use the knowledge gained to communicate more effectively with those from the hard of hearing through to the profoundly deaf.

Basic communication skills in BSL such as

• Finger spelling
• Introducing yourselves and others
• Numbers (differentiating between dates, times,age,money)
• Basic food and drink signs
• Directions

Note:
‘In House’ Group training sessions can be arranged for up to 20 participants.  Indicative investment of £850 per group
