Analytics, Speed Up Tricks & AI in Excel – 1 Day Course

By the end of workshop participants should be able to:

1. Build PivotTables to aggregate data by category without formulas
2. Create interactive dashboards using slicers & PivotTables
3. Understand which of Excel’s data visualisations should be used when
4. Use Excel’s built in AI tool to auto-analyse data using prompts
5. Use Excel’s AI tools Flash fill/formula by example to clean up text or dates
6. Understand the built in AI vs what costs extra (i.e. Copilot for Excel)
7. Automatically colour cells based on conditions
8. Learn how Excel’s little known “Format as Table” feature can be game changing
9. Use keyboard shortcuts and other speed up tricks

Pre-requisites:

This workshop will be useful for anyone using Excel for 3 or more hours per week interested in doing things more efficiently and robustly. Formulas are a big part of Excel, but modern Excel has several ways to achieve equivalent things without them.
